Donald P. Gagnon received a
Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida in
1987 and an M.A. in English from the University of Central
Florida in 1995. He began teaching in the
Master’s program and continued as an adjunct instructor of English at
Indian River Community College until he entered the Ph.D. program
at the University of South Florida in 1996.
While in the Ph.D. program,
Mr. Gagnon served as president of the English
Graduate Student Association and received the Provost’s Award for
Outstanding Teaching by a Graduate Student in
2001. He has authored several published short stories
and articles on topics in American literature, and he has made
many presentations at national and regional
conferences.
