Once again Travis Bogard has given us another insight into the heart and mind of Eugene O'Neill. Bogard's comments on the songs and their relationship to the plays are an enlightening and thrilling experience. The Songbook is invaluable... I only wish José Quintero and I had this collection when we started the revival of the O'Neill plays thirty-five years ago. —Jason Robards |
