Eugene O'Neill Jr. was found dead in his cottage here with his left wrist and ankle slashed by a razor. The coroner's verdict was suicide. The 40-year-old son of the famous playwright had been low in spirits, neighbors said. This is the last photo made of O'Neill Jr. It was taken at Woodstock while he was at the same desk that his father used in writing "The Emperor Jones".
