Dear Miss Malmgren:

Many thanks for your so beautious, rhymes or in rhymes, poem -- and so gorgeously illustrated, too!  And much gratitude for the gifts!  I sure like their infinite variety!

But don't insinuate this institution resembles the Mannon mansion in "M.B.E."!  That is too depressing a thought -- for, as I remember, the male inmates didn't have much luck there, but lost considerably more than their appendixes (if that's the right plural correctly spelled, which I doubt.)

Seriously, much gratitude for your appreciation of my plays, and all good luck to you at U.C., and to your ambitions.
