Dear Dick:

This will introduce Saxe Commins, an old friend of mine who has been visiting us here.  He will explain a matter to you too long to write in detail.  Suffice it, we would like to get in personal touch with Burton Holmes -- to find out if he is Brown's executor, if he is coming down here in near future to wind up Brown's estate, etc.  Although this affair is in hands of Bermuda agent, a man of repute, and we do not at all want to "gip" him out of his commission, still it is no secret here of how the Bermudian realtors work the family-friend-native son game to double cross the Yanks whose presence here they resent except in the role of suckers, and we want a direct contact with the American owner of this property to prevent this.

But Saxe will explain all.  Anything you or Marbury or Rumsey can do will be immensely appreciated.

All best!

Gene.
